A good translator doesn't translate word by word. A good translator adapts a given text in such a way that it can properly reach its target audience.

My name is Claudia Alvis and I've been an English to Spanish freelance translator since 1999. I work with a team of translators, proofreaders, editors, graphic and web designers, and developers from different parts of Mexico, South America and the United States.

As a freelance translator, I've worked with dozens of translation and localization agencies all over the world and a large number of direct clients, including small businesses and some of the largest companies in the United States. I am also a software localization specialist, a localization tester and professional trainer in SDL software like Trados 2007, Trados 2009, Trados 2011 and SDLX.
